The bug report that actually gets fixed fast

Send the pattern and the test string, both exactly as pasted — regex bugs live in single characters, so paraphrasing kills the repro. Tell me the expected match and what RegexCalc actually reported, and if it disagrees with another engine (Python re, PCRE, ripgrep), name that engine: this site runs your browser's JavaScript regex engine, so discrepancies are usually flavor differences (lookbehind support, named-group syntax, \p{} unicode classes), not bugs — but I document or fix whichever it is.

Reports where the tester froze or the page crashed matter too: paste the pattern and I'll check it for catastrophic backtracking.

Response time

Business hours are optimistic, but replies inside two business days is the promise. Recipe corrections that are actually wrong get shipped the same week.
